Going spend the rest of today sitting around doing college work and watching Adam West’s Batman until something else comes on!
Might possibly be crafting some Steam punk-esque jewellery today as well but I shall see how that goes.

Some Steampunk sketches! Using some quality felt tip pens as per. Got a lot to do before this actually looks like anything nice so give me some credit!

Ordered a lot of ‘vintage’ jewellery bits and bobs.
All Steam punk style! So cogs, clocks and pendants! Should be fun putting these on things and making jewellery for college stuff!
Now just to get that graphics tablet…make tons of Steam punk clothes/accessories, draw like mad to get concept ideas…
oh yeh and do some paper work.
And maybe send off my application for Glasgow School of Art? I think that’d be good since the deadline’s on Friday!

Cleaning up and clearing out my art studio this afternoon so I can get in and then do some bits and bobs for my mini portfolio!
Feels good to finally get it sorted as it was really starting to bug me.
It’s not a mess or anything there’s just need for a little more organisation!
And I need to get some shelves in there and work put away instead of laying in a pile on the floor…!
Might see if my mother will take me to the centre to get another portfolio…hmm

Things are starting to really get started now.
Passed my second project of the year and the first major one! Thankfully! Since that was the ‘underwhelming’ one!
Just had a chat with my lecturer regarding my work and printing.
He reckons my work is now of a high enough standard that I should start looking in to memberships for photography studios and printmaking studios. He seems to really get what I’m doing aswell which is great.
And hey, this guy’s nearly got a phd so not to toot my own horn but I think he’ll know what he’s talking about!
So, as it stands, career/life wise things are going well so hopefully I’ll get in to one of my 3 choices and move to Glasgow and become a successful artist.
If I don’t get in to any of them then…move to Glasgow anyway? Perhaps!

Once again, in college. Next up, print experiments for three more colours then I can get on to the big stuff and get printing on mesh!
Oh yeh I’m printing on mesh now. It works aha.
Anyway, I should get off Tumblr and actually DO some work. Some MORE work.
